Prank phone calls, called “swatting” because they often result in police response including calling out a SWAT team to the victim’s house, are not justification for this kind of police state thuggery. Even the US Supreme Court has told police departments countrywide as much - see   
Florida v. J.L. 529 U.S. 266 (2000).

Another case of young, poorly trained, robotic, militarized cops who can’t assess a situation and think for themselves but are “just doing our jobs” giving good cops a bad name. What's going to happen when the people inside their own homes start responding to this kind of Orwellian nightmare with shotguns?
