When White Men Ruled The World

For those of you who haven’t seen this yet, it is a very early film taken in San Francisco only four days before the big earthquake in 1906 wiped out the city. This was shot from a trolley car going down Market Street toward the Embarcadero and on the day the earthquake hit the film was in the can on a train back to New York City to be developed.

In this film you can see actual people going about their business on a nice spring day 108 years ago, almost within living memory, in a world where White men ruled and there was hope and joy and fulfillment, at the dawn of the terrible century wherein we lost everything. These people you see in this film are on the verge of catastrophe, and I don’t just mean the coming earthquake. Cities can be rebuilt. Civilizations seldom can be, and races of humanity once lost can never be recovered.

It is nice to look at the days of sun. Though you can see the dust and the smelly cars and man, who tught them traffic control!

On the other hand, there are no filthy negros standing on the street corner. There are no flashing lights as the bloods make a hit on the crips or MS-13, just order (if slightly chaotic) and peace.

I would recommend all Brigades read this: ( )

There is always a counter...
