From the Heretical Two

[Received from Stephen Whittle, one of the "Heretical Two" Revisionists who are being held in Los Angeles County Jail while awaiting a hearing on their application for political asylum in the United States.]

14 August 2008

Dear Harold:

Many thanks for your letter, and my apologies for the belated reply. It's only today that we've received our own stamps, and are able to write more than two letters a week.

Things are moving slowly with our case, and it appears that the authorities here are blocking material sent from Northwest Publishing. [Northwest Observer #74 carried the case of the Heretical Two as lead article, and both men's copies were returned by the jail rubber-stamped "unauthorized" in large red letters.] Simon sends his regards, and we both wish you success in your endeavours. Simon and I also send thanks for the money you sent as a commissary donation.

Sorry I can't write a longer letter, but it's literally years since I wrote a letter by hand, and there are a lot of people to write and thank.

One package that I sent to both of them was returned saying that the prisoner (Simon?) is no longer in custody.
