A Dim Echo From The Past
This used to be the birthday of a country called the United States of America. It no longer exists, but I will always be thankful that I was born into the last dying rays of its light, and that I retain some fleeting childhood memories of a better way of life.

You are absolutely right. July 4th is a day for all those who love the real America to weep, not celebrate.
What America was that? I turn thirty next week and all I can remember is this freak show we call the U.S.A.. I want my thirty years back!
Wait a minute ... don't promote the idea that Osama had anything to do with 9/11!!! (He's been dead since November or December of 2001, by the way).
