Internet Activist Attacked In Courtroom

Internet gadfly Bill White was attacked by an NAACP activist who shouted racial slurs and threatened to kill White after a Roanoke City Court Judge continued an assault case.

Prosecutors admitted that they did not have enough evidence to proceed against White and made a joint request with defense counsel for the two negroes charged in attacking White to continue the case for three months in the hopes they can locate and arrest witnesses willing to testify on Brown's behalf.

White objected to the motion, through counsel, and the court determined no further continuances would be granted.

Black communist activists with the NAACP who had gathered to protest White grew upset at the decision, and at the presence of several witnesses, one Mexican, who signed papers stating they were planning to testify on White's behalf. A judge warned the black crowd at one point that "The verdict in this case may not be what you want. This is a warning that regardless of the verdict you are not to disrupt the proceedings of this court."

As black activists left the courtroom, one began shouting racial slurs at White, stating "These honky motherfuckers are all tough on the internet, but when you see them in person they are quiet and shit. What you got to say to me mother fucker? What you got to say?"

When White, according to his own account of the incident posted on the internet, responded "You talking to me, nigger?" the black flipped out, lunged at White, and had to be grabbed by two NAACP leaders. The black then shouted "Let's go right here, motherfucker. You white honky bitch, I'll fight you right here," causing a group of four deputy sheriffs to grab the man and escort him and the rest of the NAACP entourage out the courthouse doors.

White says he is anxious for the trial and, based on information received today, may have tips on other witnesses who saw the assault on him by a local crack dealer and his prostitute girlfriend.

The prostitute who attacked White, Latoria Minnis, has disappeared and is rumored to be dead. If found, she has been ordered imprisoned until the February court date without bail.
