Kurt Vonnegut Rests With The Gods

[A belated obituary I just noticed in one of my more obscure e-mail boxes.]

The author of the sixties, eighties, nineties, and therafter, Kurk Vonnegut just died, may the Allfather toast his immortal soul in Asgard.

Kurt will always be remembered as the American former WWII POW who wrote the devastingly powerhouse exposé of Allied war crimes in Dresden, Germany, when we (I can say we, because I am an American, born in the USA and served in the military in the 60s!!) dropped firebombs on a nonmilitary target, a university and museum city in Germany and ignited a fire as hot as the surface of the sun. Just Google it if you are in denial.

With respect to Germany, we are not talking about strategic targets; we are not talking about instantly (somewhat painlessly) atomizing tens of thousands of noncombatants as we did to Nagasaki and Hiroshima. We are talking about a war crime with as many as a quarter of million -- of such devastatingly heinous proportions that it has never been broached in the Allied press ----except by Vonnegut.

That is why everyone of us must watch the movie and read the book Slaughterhouse Five. Kurt was one of the lucky American POWs who were not slowly burned alive by the Allied conflagration.

Kurt just died, I believe on the 11th. I must admit that I never watched the movie until a few years ago. I just thought that he was another liberal shabazz-goy. Boy, was I wrong.

Some of you may be familiar with Alex Jones, the noted historian and conspiracy documentatarian. You can Google his website. Recently Alex quoted the great Kurt Vonnegut who recently spake these words of bitter irony and truth:

"What is the difference between George W. Bush and Hitler?

"Hitler was ELECTED!!!!!!!"

Verily, at last the truth! Hail, Kurt Vonnegut, a great American who was not afraid to speak the truth and blow\nthe whistle on political corruption, war crimes and deceit!!!!
