Deb Gardner: Murdered By A Jew
An especially egregious example of the privileged role of the Chosen in our society.
Latest library book is American Taboo, on the 1976 murder of White Peace Corps Volunteer Deborah Ann Gardner in Tonga by a fellow Peace Corps worker, a New York Jew named Dennis Priven. Deb, who was from just up the road here in Tacoma, was regarded as a "free spirit" in the islands, meaning she was sleeping with everything in a grass skirt, but apparently this one Yeshiva boy was too psycho even for her hippy-dippy taste and she refused to let him have any.
So one night in October of 1976 he breaks into her hut and butchers her Halloween style, with twenty-two stab wounds. The Tongans wanted to hang him, but dear me! that would never do. No, no, no, no.
So the Tongan government allowed themselves to be "persuaded" by the Americans to send the killer back to New York, allegedly to be imprisoned for life in a madhouse. The Jew spent one night in a hotel at Peace Corps expense and the next day announced, "I want to go home now," and out he walked onto the street. No one stopped him or has done anything to him at all since then.
Such a deal they made him.
