Terri Schiavo Put Down

Well, it's now official. Adult human beings, not just fetuses, may now be put down on the request of a relative when they become financially inconvenient. Apparently the catalyst here was that the portion of the million dollars that was set aside for Terri's lifetime care was running out and Michael Schiavo would have had to start digging into his own pocket.

Next up: elderly Alzheimer's patients will be officially classed as "vegetative" or otherwise brain-dead and thus eligible for euthanasia.

The final step: removing the relatives altogether and allowing the decision to kill to be made by a "qualified medical professional," maybe not even a doctor.

Well, that's one way to cut down on the Social Security rolls and get rid of all those useless old white people.

Too bad you didn't dig out of your own pocket to save her, eh?

Terri was dead already. Appears that she put herself into the condition she was in because she led an unhealthy life style.

There was no hope for her and there was no reason to keepthe enemies health system well funded by keeping her alive.

It is sad, but it is no crime.
